ACMS COMMITTEE

CHRIS RAWLINSON - Convenor and Treasurer
Chris discovered the pleasures of playing chamber music as a UK teenager and has pursued it ever since. For Chris the special appeal of chamber music is the way it brings people together in an intense musical, social and intellectual experience. While the technical challenges of the repertoire endure, he delights in discovering the inventiveness and creativity present in the music. Having the ACMS available on his doorstep every year is an ideal opportunity to extend this pleasure and connect with so many other wonderful like-minded people! Chris has more spare time now that he has largely retired from information management consulting.

LACHLAN BRAMBLE - Program Coordinator
Lachlan was lucky enough to have four siblings also learning string instruments so grew up playing chamber music almost from the cradle. Formative experiences at orchestral and chamber music camps created a life-long love for the synergy that happens when musicians come together for a special occasion. His involvement with Adelaide Chamber Music School is the inevitable outcome of this. Lachlan enjoys cooking, photography and plays indoor cricket with The Full Tossers.
In his spare time Lachlan is violinist with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Benaud Trio and is a delegate and activist with the Media, Arts and Entertainment Alliance.

ROGER DAVIES
Roger started music lessons at the age of 5 and his philosophy as a musician is to keep learning for life and pass on the joy of music to my family and musical friends. He’s played violin in community orchestras since age 15, and string quartets for more than 25 years and more recently started to learn to play the viola. As a committee member of ACMS, Roger hopes to bring our participants both challenge and reward.
In his spare time Roger is a radiologist and entrepreneur with Adelaide MRI and Fluid Solar Thermal.
