The school will commence late afternoon on the Thursday and conclude following the late afternoon concert on Sunday in Adelaide.

SCHOOL PROGRAM
Adelaide Chamber Music School is a residential school with a full program of rehearsals, tutorials and workshops. The school culminates with a public performance by all participants on the final day. In addition, participants will have opportunities to socialise and to play in other ad hoc groups.
ELIGIBILITY
ACMS is open to chamber musicians over the age of 18. In 2020 we are seeking applications from string players, wind players and pianists in pre-formed ensembles. There is no specific minimum standard of proficiency but participants should have experience in performing chamber music repertoire and be comfortable with sight reading. Musicians are encouraged to apply as a pre-formed ensemble (trios, quartets, quintets) though some places may be made available to individual applicants who will be allocated to an appropriate group.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
ACMS has a limited number of scholarship places for tertiary music students or recent graduates intending to pursue a career in music. To apply for financial assistance your registration form should be accompanied by a letter addressed to the Adelaide Chamber Music School Committee detailing your career aspirations, reasons for wishing to attend ACMS, your current employment / financial situation in addition to your curriculum vitae and a written reference from an industry professional.
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
Accommodation and all lunches and dinners will be provided on site at the Hahndorf Resort. Participants can make their own arrangements for breakfasts and have the option of single or twin share rooms. Full details are here.
TRANSPORT
Participants will need to arrange their own transport to and from the School. Car-pooling will be organised to the concert venue.
CONCERT
All participants will perform in the ACMS 2020 Public Concert which will take place on Sunday 12 July at St John's Anglican Church, Halifax Street, Adelaide. Details are here.
