ELIGIBILITY ACMS Weekend Workshop is open to chamber musicians over the age of 18. In 2022 we are seeking applications from string players, wind players and pre-formed ensembles. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate piano on this occasion.
There is no specific minimum standard of proficiency but participants should have experience in performing chamber music repertoire and be comfortable with sight reading. Musicians are encouraged to apply as a pre-formed ensemble (trios, quartets, quintets etc.) though some places may be made available to individual applicants who will be allocated to an appropriate group.
COST The registration fee for ACMS Weekend Workshop is due with your application by 16 September 2022.
Standard fee $280 (per participant) Tertiary students * $150 (per participant)
* A discounted fee is offered to full time tertiary students or recent graduates intending to pursue a career in music. Please provide appropriate details on your application form. REGISTRATIONS Download and complete the Registration form. Registrations close on 16 September 2022.

CONCERT All participating ensembles will perform in an informal concert to fellow participants on the final afternoon of the school.
COVID-19 All activities at the ACMS Weekend Workshop will adhere at a minimum to any State Government and Concordia College requirements that are applicable at the time.
ACMS will prepare a COVID Safe Plan, make it available on this website and distribute it to all participants shortly before the Workshop begins. All participants and staff will be required to familiarise themselves with the plan and adhere to its requirements.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ACMS 2022 is limited to 8 ensembles which is approximately 32 participants. Preference will be given to fully formed ensembles, the suitability of your instrument, the balance of ensembles / instruments and the date on which we receive your registration payment. Places are expected to fill quickly. If you register as an individual, (not as part of a fully formed ensemble), we will do our best to allocate you to a group of a similar standard, however this cannot be guaranteed.
Decisions on applications will be made by ACMS staff after all registrations have been received. We will inform you by 30 September 2022 whether your application has been successful.
If you are unsuccessful, we will refund your registration fee in full.
If for any reason you have to withdraw from the School after your application has been accepted, we will refund your registration fee you have made, provided that a suitable replacement participant can be found. If no suitable substitute can be found, the refund will be reduced to 50%.
